Our Speakers:
Valeria Clarke, MSW, LCSW, PAPC
Valeria has been in the social services field for 24 years and remains passionate about serving and supporting folx in gaining their highest potential. As a licensed clinical social worker she has worked in community mental health as a crisis worker, therapist, case manager, and administrator; as a certified alcohol and drug counselor; and as a domestic violence advocate both in the courts and on the streets. She has provided a variety of trainings to community mental health staff and community members at large, including Connect Postvention Training, developed by NIMH to create healing in communities after deaths by suicide and the Strengthening Families Program.
Today in addition to running a rural private practice serving folx who have experienced trauma and the resulting mental health symptoms that come from traumatic experiences she is an educator with Subtle Winds Psilocybin Facilitator Training program focusing on the areas of ethics, preparation, and core facilitation. Valeria obtained a certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy focusing on psilocybin, ketamine, and MDMA from the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. She islicensed by the state of Oregon as a Psilocybin Facilitator, is awaiting a practicum with MAPS to be certified further in MDMA, and currently engages in psychedelic integration in her private practice.
Valeria believes deeply in the healing nature of psychedelics and is excited to be part of the current wave of psychedelic healing.
Kate Gillespie, LCSW
Kate Gillespie, LCSW, is co-founder and Clinal Director of Subtle Winds Training and Transformative Therapy Center. She is a psychotherapist, clinal supervisor, and a training facilitator. Kate’s focus is in supporting women, gender diverse humans, and those identifying within the LGBTQ+ community.

Through traditional and non-traditional practice models Kate has developed her own unique way of meeting people where they are at.
Kate developed an interest in the application of psychedelics for therapeutic and cathartic transformation during the past decade and a half working in festival psychedelic harm reduction. She has a mission to inspire people to make lasting changes in their lives and to open their minds to new possibilities and healthier ways of being.
